I love growing dill. It doesn't look like much, but I have been able to watch a lot of wildlife on dill planted right outside my window. There have been battles between lady bugs and feeding frenzies upon aphids. My plant this year had died out and a few seedlings had spouted, but those weren't doing well because the weather had been so dry. So when I saw several black swallowtail caterpillars feeding on what was there, I knew they wouldn't survive of what was left. I put them in a ten gallon aquarium and we raised them to butterflies. I got the oppourtunity to watch one emerge and was able to video of this amazing process. Took a few pictures too, one of which made it on Flickr's featured page, Explore.
